With the increase of COVID-19 we have been asked to leave the studio and are unsure when we will be able to return. I have taken everything out of the studio and will have to work at home for the next couple of weeks until the situation improves.

I am still refining the details for my interactive installation and have spent the past week sketching out potential interactions and have developed ideas further.

Game of life

By incorporating a game, users are immersed within the experience and ultimately engage with the project on a deeper level.

Wheel of misfortune

Users can physically interact with the object, this allows the aspect of storytelling to become more engaging as there is a sense of mystery.

The interactive installation experience

Three small interactions within the project takes users through a fun and engaging journey of everyday sexism.

Arcade/ Fun Fair themed interactions

I experimented with making fun interactive games in an arcade/ fun fair style as a way to add an element of intrigue to the installation. It is important that my installation takes a fun and playful approach to tackle such a serious social issue as I want users to be interested and intrigued to take part and not put off by the idea behind it. I sketched a variety of potential games that could be used to incorporate the research I had done so far and looked at ways in which these could be introduced in the style of a fun fair type of installation.
