Design Methods for Insight Gathering (DJ12008)

Exploring the principles of visual communication, creative problem solving and critical thinking.

For this module we have been asked to gather research material on how first year students at the University of Dundee use photography. We are to gather data that illustrates the relationship that students have with technology and photography. After making our own participant information and consent forms we had to come up with a series of questions we could ask. Prior to the interview we had to create a storyboard of how we planned for our interview to go. Initially I wanted to film some of my interview inside and some outside but this changed when I got around to filming.
